Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a part-time Food & Beverage Staff member to provide premium catering and concession service at events. The role pays an hourly rate of $10.00 and is tip eligible, with benefits including a 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching.

This position remains open through December 31, 2026, and requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include serving guests professionally, managing alcohol service, handling cash sales, and maintaining sanitation

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedule.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Cash handling and data entry for sales.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions for each event as given by the Director of F&B.
• Service guests professionally and according to standards.
• Work across catering and concession operations including alcohol.
• Handle cash register sales and reconciliation forms.
• Adhere to sanitation guidelines and policy standards.
• Check IDs for alcoholic beverage purchases and handle intoxicated guests appropriately.
• Complete opening/closing daily checklists.
• Assist with banquet equipment and setup for events.
• Prepare and operate concession stands before/after events.
• Attend pre-function briefings and maintain guest service excellence.
• Remain at assigned station and perform duties as assigned.
• Breakdown and return serving pieces to storage; grooming standards.

Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Staff is a hands‑on position, providing the highest degree of professional catering and concession service to guests with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction and retention.

This role pays an hourly rate of $10.00 and is tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructions for each event as given by the Director of F&B.
• Service guests in a professional manner consistent with estab lished standards and guidelines.
• Work consists of both catering and concession operations , including alcohol.
• Handle cash register sales and reconciliation forms.
• Adhere to organizational and sanitation guidelines established by the F&B d irector & corporate.
• Check the guest's IDs to verify the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
• R ecognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individuals.
• Complete opening and closing daily checklists.
• Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, China, glassware, and servi ng pieces needed for each event.
• Assist with preparing and opening an d closing concession stands.
• Assist with preparation and setup of the event room when necessary.
• Attend the pre-function meetin g for a briefing of event details.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service at all times.
• Remain at the assigned station and perform duties as a ssigned according to each event.
• Breakdown tables and ban quet equipment after each event.
• Clean and return servin g pieces to the proper storage area.
• Adhere to strict grooming st andards and policies of the company.
• Perform other duties a s assigned and deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the event schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Cash handling ability to provide change accurately.
• Ability to input data into a computer to record sales transactions.
• Basic computer skills in typing and data entry with Microsoft Office products and internet platforms.
