Job summary

Oak View Group in Loveland, CO is seeking a part-time Server to deliver professional food and beverage service at events. You will set up banquet spaces, serve courses promptly, and help maintain cleanliness and organization.

You will work with kitchen and event staff to ensure guest satisfaction during formal galas, corporate events or weddings. The role is hourly and tip eligible; benefits for part-time roles are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in a fast-paced, high-volume food service setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Food Handlers Card and certifications required.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, event-driven environment with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Maintains menu knowledge and communicates items clearly to guests.

Position Summary

A Server plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional and efficient food and beverage service during events. Their primary function is to ensure that all guests feel welcomed and attended to, following event specifications and service standards. From the setup of banquet spaces to the seamless execution of meal service, they maintain an acute focus on detail and hospitality. Servers work collaboratively with kitchen and event staff to ensure the timely delivery of courses, adapt to guest needs in real time, and uphold the ambiance and quality of the event. Beyond serving, Servers contribute to the overall success of events by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the service. They reset spaces for subsequent events and ensure that all equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately. Whether it's a formal gala, a corporate event, or a wedding reception, this applies. Servers are integral in creating a positive impression of the venue and event host, embodying professionalism, efficiency, and a guest‑focused attitude. This role pays an hourly rate of $13.65 and is tip eligible.

Benefits for Part‑Time Roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) Matching. Also, OVG provides part‑time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

This position will remain open until December 25, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
• Provides quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to restaurant guests and is able to communicate clearly with all customers.
• Ensures that food items are served at the proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer.
• Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items, with no spill‑over.
• Pre‑bus tables and fully bus tables when necessary during peak periods.
• Maintains availability to work during many peak periods.
• Stock beverage station(s) when necessary (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc.).
• Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests.
• Maintains a professional and clean appearance.
• Communicates with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
• Builds and maintains knowledge regarding bar offerings so that patron questions may be accurately answered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume food service environment is preferred.
• Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related food service job experience.
• Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced, event‑driven environment.
• Ability to communicate with employees, co‑workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business‑like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
