Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking a highly experienced Process Piping Designer to support food and beverage facility projects. You will design and layout process and utility piping in 2D and 3D, build piping models, and generate drawings used for bidding and construction.

You will work closely with process engineers and other disciplines, travel to client sites (approximately 25% annually), and contribute to CAD standards while coordinating across the project team.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree is required; an engineering field is preferred.
• 12+ years of piping and equipment layout experience in food & beverage facilities or similar.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; 3D experience with CADWorx, Plant3D or similar; Revit piping.
• Familiar with XREFS and basic drawing setup.
• Ability to interpret PIDs and translate into piping layouts.
• Travel to client sites up to 25% annually.
• Experience in Food & Beverage processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Layout 2D and 3D process and utility piping for food & beverage facilities.
• Create and update drawings, PDFs, and 3D models per project needs.
• Coordinate with process engineers, structural, and electrical teams.
• Develop 3D piping models and 3D equipment arrangements.
• Prepare bid drawings and assist field teams with coordination.
