Job summary

Four Seasons San Francisco at Embarcadero seeks a Food & Beverage Manager in Training (M.I.T.) to rotate through outlets for 12–18 months, gaining tools to become a manager in our luxury hotel group. The program emphasizes service excellence, creativity, and career development, with exposure to high-volume, guest-centric operations.

You'll work in a dynamic environment that rewards initiative, teamwork, and a passion for Four Seasons standards, while building leadership capabilities and industry

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and spoken English required.
• Minimum 1 year hospitality experience.
• Ability to work under pressure in high-volume ops.
• Ability to prioritise and multitask.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including days/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
• Experience at a top luxury group preferred.
• Experience with hospitality systems (Micros, Hotsos, Avero, OpenTable).

Responsibilities

• Engage guests to build rapport and drive high guest-comment scores.
• Maintain floor presence, knowledge of food & beverage and service standards.
• Oversee inventory controls and knowledge of wines, spirits, and beers.
• Background in bar operations and innovative mixology programs.
• Comply with company work rules and standards of conduct.
• Collaborate harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors.
