Four Seasons San Francisco at Embarcadero seeks a Food & Beverage Manager in Training (M.I.T.) to rotate through outlets for 12–18 months, gaining tools to become a manager in our luxury hotel group. The program emphasizes service excellence, creativity, and career development, with exposure to high-volume, guest-centric operations.
You'll work in a dynamic environment that rewards initiative, teamwork, and a passion for Four Seasons standards, while building leadership capabilities and industry
Qualifications
- Reading, writing and spoken English required.
- Minimum 1 year hospitality experience.
- Ability to work under pressure in high-volume ops.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including days/nights/weekends/holidays.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- Experience at a top luxury group preferred.
- Experience with hospitality systems (Micros, Hotsos, Avero, OpenTable).
Responsibilities
- Engage guests to build rapport and drive high guest-comment scores.
- Maintain floor presence, knowledge of food & beverage and service standards.
- Oversee inventory controls and knowledge of wines, spirits, and beers.
- Background in bar operations and innovative mixology programs.
- Comply with company work rules and standards of conduct.
- Collaborate harmoniously with colleagues and supervisors.

The Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero seeks a Food & Beverage Manager in Training (M.I.T.) to join our talented team! - Guest engagement skills to effectively develop guest rapport and ensure strong outlet success in achieving high level of guest comment card scores consistently above benchmark standards
- Restaurant floor presence skills, food & beverage knowledge and attention to service standard compliance detail
- Inventory controls, understanding of international wines, spirits, and beers
- Bar background, ability to understand innovative mixology program
- Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Reading, written and oral proficiency in the English language is required
- Viable candidates must have a minimum of one (1) year of hospitality experience
- Must be able to cope with stress and work in a high-volume operation
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
- Experience at a top luxury group (Four Seasons preffered)
- Systems knowledge using Micros, Hotsos, Avero, & Opentable
