Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf is seeking an experienced F&B Manager to lead the food & beverage team, drive culinary decisions, and oversee guest experiences across events and fine dining at our Polo Club property.

The role requires strategic leadership, strong budgeting skills, and a commitment to the BlueStar standards of excellence. This full-time position involves evenings and weekends as needed to support events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three to five years’ related experience in a hospitality field preferred.
• One to three years’ experience supervising a team of managers or other supervisory role required.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus.
• Understanding of county regulations and dining standards.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret periodicals in the food service industry.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, labor costs, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Communicate core values and mission of Bluestar Resort & Golf to support company goals.
• Support Director in strategic planning for F&B initiatives including branding, menus, and events.
• Ensure superior food service standards meet guest expectations.
• Maintain effective communication among F&B staff on operations, safety, and concerns.
• Hire, train, and supervise F&B staff; create weekly schedules; coach team members.
• Oversee all F&B functions including corporate events and weddings.
• Manage cost of goods, labor, and general expenses; establish PO programs and budgets.
• Collaborate with Club Manager to set budgets and sales goals; execute budgets daily, monthly, and annually.
• Prepare operational reports as requested.
