Job summary

Arcis Golf in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee club dining operations, guest service, and event catering. You will lead banquet staff, collaborate with the executive chef, and ensure high standards of food quality and hospitality.

• Proven experience supervising banquet staff in an event setting and outstanding customer service.

• Interact with guests, promoting F&B facilities, products, and services.
• Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
• Recognizes and resolves guest complaints and concerns.
• Coordinating with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless execution of food.
• Maintains food quality and service standards for location.
• Maintains accurate inventory and appropriate supply levels.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of F&B work areas and facilities.
• Supervises event set up and banquet staff; ensures quality service.
• Provide direct service to guests as needed, including serving tables and seating guests.
• Oversees F&B outlets during service.
• Controls food & beverage costs including payroll, equipment, supplies, and products.

Food and Beverage Manager Responsibilities:

• Interacts with guests, promoting food & beverage facilities, products, and services.

• Supervises event set up and break down procedures; contributes to overall cleanliness and organization of facility and event location.
• Maintains complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned functions and communicates expectations to banquet staff.
• Provide direct service to guests as needed, including serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, and general clerical/cashier duties.
• Supervises banquet staff; ensures quality service is provided to guests.
• Support all activities within the club to ensure exceptional member experience.
• Oversees F&B outlets during service.
• Controls food & beverage costs including payroll, equipment, supplies, and products.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years banquet and or F&B supervisory experience; excellent people and communication skills.
• Proven experience supervising banquet staff in an event setting and demonstrated outstanding customer service.
• Must possess a willingness to learn and perform restaurant & bar services.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive, and motivation.
• Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.

Pay Range: $70,304.00 - $150,000.00
