Job summary

Harper Associates, in partnership with Detroit's premier upscale steakhouse, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the restaurant team. You will oversee daily ops, coach front-of-house staff, and partner with culinary leadership to deliver unwavering guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in upscale F&B management, strong leadership and cost-control skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of F&B management in upscale settings
• Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills
• Experience managing labor, scheduling and financial performance
• Passion for hospitality and world-class guest service
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Wine and beverage knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of a high-volume, upscale steakhouse within a luxury hotel.
• Inspire, coach, and develop front-of-house supervisors and service staff.
• Ensure impeccable service standards and an exceptional guest experience.
• Partner with the Executive Chef and culinary leadership to deliver seamless food and beverage service.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor costs, and payroll.
• Monitor beverage and food quality, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally while building lasting guest relationships.
• Help achieve financial goals through effective cost control and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
