Qualifications

• This position requires a degree in Hospitality Management or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Lecturer: Master’s degree and 3 years restaurant management experience and 2 years post-secondary teaching experience.
• Assistant Professor-in-Residence: Ph.D. degree and 3 years restaurant management experience and 2 years post-secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in restaurant operations and management.
• Potential involvement in executive education and professional certificate programs.
• Mentor undergraduate students and participate in department, college and university committees.
• Engage with the local restaurant industry to enhance teaching and student opportunities.
• This role focuses on teaching and will not require independent research.
