Job summary

Gates is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Food and Beverage Market in the Americas, operating remotely from your home office. This role reports to the Director - Industrial Growth, Commercial, Americas and drives profitable, sustainable sales growth across US and Canada, aligning local sales and marketing with business objectives and coordinating across the Power Transmission portfolio.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Business.
8+ years of relevant professional experience with at least 3 years in the industrial market.
Food and beverage manufacturing equipment background preferred.
Travel for this role is 30-50%.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year business plan aligned with the Americas Strategic Plan, delivering profitable growth.
Serve as the primary market and technical voice for food and beverage processors and OEMs by translating needs into strategies.
Identify key stakeholders within food and beverage organizations and engage them effectively.
Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards affecting food processing design and sanitation.
Identify opportunities for new product introductions and emerging automation technologies.
