Job summary

Gates Corporation is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Food and Beverage market in the Americas, working remotely from a home office. The role covers the United States and Canada, driving profitable growth and aligning sales with our strategic plan across the Power Transmission portfolio.

You will coordinate with technical sales, product management, and account teams, travel 30-50%+, and lead market and application strategies to win plant and OEM opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Business.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience with at least 3 years in the industrial market.
• Background with food and beverage manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Travel for this role is allotted at 30-50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year business plan for profitable growth in the Americas.
• Coordinate sales efforts across the Power Transmission product portfolio.
• Align local sales and marketing with business objectives.
• Serve as market and technical voice for food and beverage processors and OEMs.
• Engage key stakeholders across plant management, operations, maintenance/reliability, sourcing, and food safety teams.
• Monitor FDA/USDA/EHEDG standards and sanitation requirements for design opportunities.
