Job summary

The Sea Pines Resort’s Front of House Internship Program offers college students hands-on experience in high-end restaurant service at Hilton Head Island. Interns rotate through venues such as Coast, Links, Quarterdeck, and Fraser’s Tavern, while developing essential hospitality skills.

Duration is 14 weeks with 32–40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Housing is provided; pay is hourly plus tips where applicable.

Qualifications

Program Overview:
The Sea Pines Resort’s Front of House Restaurant Internship Program offers college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in high-end restaurant service at one of Hilton Head Island’s premier destinations. Interns will rotate through a variety of guest-facing roles across the resort’s signature dining venues, such as Coast, Links, Quarterdeck, and Fraser’s Tavern, while developing essential hospitality skills and industry knowledge.

Learning Objectives:
Interns will:

Gain practical experience in front-of-house restaurant operations

Develop strong customer service and communication skills

Learn and operate reservation and point-of-sale systems

Understand fine dining standards and beverage service basics

Build leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution abilities

Duration: 14 weeks

Hours: 32-40 hours per week (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)

Housing: Provided; subject to availability

Pay: Hourly wage + tips (where applicable)

Supervision: Interns will be mentored by FOH supervisors and restaurant managers
