Job summary

The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island is seeking a Barback to support the bar team in delivering exceptional, timely service to guests. You will help maintain bar cleanliness, stock levels, and organization while assisting bartenders to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Previous barback, food & beverage, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to anticipate needs and work proactively

Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, including counters, storage areas, and service stations
• Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, juices, and bar setup/breakdown
• Remove used glassware and barware in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure ice bins are consistently filled and maintained
• Support timely service by anticipating bartender and guest needs
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the bar at all times
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries as needed
• Uphold resort and Forbes Travel Guide standards of service, professionalism, and presentation

Position Summary:

The Barback supports the bar team in delivering exceptional, timely, and seamless service to guests. This role is responsible for maintaining bar cleanliness, organization, and stock levels while assisting bartenders to ensure efficient operations.
