Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to help guests with a friendly, efficient shopping experience on the sales floor. You will greet guests, locate items, and ensure freshness and proper signing while adhering to food safety standards.

The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Prior food or grocery experience helps, but a welcoming attitude and strong communication are key. Training is provided to build product knowledge and guest service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience with a friendly greeting and assistance.
• Help guests find items and resolve issues for a smooth shopping trip.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while staying positive and respectful.
• Deliver on food & beverage standards, including replenishment and signing processes.
• Follow food safety requirements and PPE guidelines, and use scanners as directed.
• Work with vendors to set up organized displays and maintain backroom space.
• Handle back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up duties when needed.
