Job summary

Target in Texas, Wylie, is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to help deliver friendly guest experiences and maintain fresh, well-priced products on the sales floor. You will greet guests, assist with finding items, and support a fast-paced team in daily operations.

The role emphasizes safety, food handling, and excellent service, with flexible hours including nights and weekends. Training and ongoing development are provided to help you grow in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, merchandising, in-stocks routines, data accuracy.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target's policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to maintain displays and keep backroom space organized.
