Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to deliver a guest-first experience on the sales floor in our Texas store. You will greet guests, assist with finding items, handle transactions, and maintain stock and displays while upholding safety and quality standards.

You should be comfortable with a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and capable of working independently or with a team to resolve guest questions quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work independently and with a team to resolve guest questions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Maintain focus in a fast-paced environment and juggle tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with finding items or resolving issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you and maintain a friendly attitude.
• Support peers in other areas while upholding Food & Beverage standards.
• Execute in-store processes: replenishment, merchandising, and stock accuracy.
• Follow food safety requirements and assist with product signings and displays.
• Promote products through sampling and suggestive selling; collaborate with vendors.
• Handle backroom organization and ensure visual presentation aligns with standards.
• Work to meet guest needs during various shifts, including nights and weekends.
