Job summary

Target is seeking a Food & Beverage Expert to create an Easy, Inspiring guest experience on the sales floor. You will greet guests, help them locate items, and ensure a smooth shopping experience while upholding Target’s Food & Beverage standards.

The role requires 18+ years of age, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work in varying shifts, including nights and weekends. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft, and initiate a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience with a full shopping experience during all hours of operations.
• Uphold and maintain Food & Beverage Standards across processes.
