Job summary

DO & CO in Romulus, Michigan, is seeking Food Assembly Helpers to support our team in preparing airline meals and tray setups to exact specifications. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy and quality in every tray assembled.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in a high-volume food production or assembly role.
• Proactive and self-organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Capable of working independently or in a team.
• Follows written instructions related to food handling and tray setup.
• Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food items and tray settings per airline specifications.
• Ensure tray setups meet quality and presentation standards.
• Follow airline and company guidelines for consistency.
• Adhere to hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Report food safety or quality concerns to line manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation during the shift.
• Assist teammates to ensure efficient production and timely completion.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by line manager or supervisor.

DO & CO is looking for Food Assembly Helpers to support our Team in Romulus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food items and tray settings in accordance with detailed airline specifications, including components such as hot meals, cold meals, salads, snacks, bread, butter, and condiments.
• Ensure all tray setups are accurately completed and meet quality and presentation standards.
• Follow airline and company guidelines to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to all hygiene and food safety regulations outlined in the food safety management system handbook.
• Report any concerns related to food safety or product quality to the line manager and hygiene and food safety team.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Assist other team members as needed to ensure efficient production and timely completion of tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

• Proactive and self-organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Flexible availability, including the ability to work different shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
