Job summary

DO & CO in New York is seeking a motivated Food Assembly Helper to join our hospitality-focused team. You will assemble meals and prepare trays according to detailed airline specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.

The role requires experience in high-volume food production, strong organization, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Shifts may include days, nights, weekends and holidays, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in high-volume food production or assembly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently and meet production deadlines.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Able to read and follow written instructions related to food handling and tray assembly.
• Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, quality and accuracy.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food items and prepare meal trays according to airline specifications.
• Arrange hot meals, cold meals, salads, snacks, bread, butter, condiments, and other components.
• Ensure trays meet quality, portion and presentation standards.
• Follow airline requirements and procedures for consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Comply with hygiene and food safety regulations per the handbook.
• Report food safety or quality concerns to the line manager and Hygiene team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation during the shift.
• Support team members to maintain efficient production flow and deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Food Assembly Helper to join our growing New York team!

Responsibilities

• Assemble food items and prepare meal trays according to detailed airline specifications.
• Arrange hot meals, cold meals, salads, snacks, bread, butter, condiments, and other required components.
• Ensure all trays are assembled accurately and meet established quality, portion, and presentation standards.
• Follow airline requirements and company procedures to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Comply with all hygiene and food safety regulations outlined in the Food Safety Management System handbook.
• Report food safety, product quality, or operational concerns to the line manager and Hygiene and Food Safety team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout the shift.
• Support team members as needed to maintain an efficient production flow and complete tasks on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
