Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a dynamic Food Assembly Lead for our New York team. You will lead food assembly helpers, ensure timely task completion, and uphold high food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least one year in food production, strong organization, and the ability to manage heavy workloads while maintaining teamwork and flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned food assembly helpers, ensuring tasks are executed accurately and punctually according to deadlines.
• Report deficiencies and performance issues to supervisors, offering alternative solutions where applicable.
• Ensure meals are packed and prepared in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while enforcing the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure all received stocks and replenishments are properly documented.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure the completion of all tasks.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors while upholding DO & CO standards.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of food production experience.
• Self-motivated and well-organized.
• Able to manage heavy workloads effectively.
• Skilled in working both independently and in teams.
• Proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Flexible with shift work (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Preferably possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
