Job summary

DO & CO AG is hiring a Food Assembly Helper to join our New York team. You will assemble food items and prepare meal trays according to detailed airline specifications, and ensure quality and presentation standards are met.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble food items and prepare meal trays according to airline specifications.
• Arrange hot meals, cold meals, salads, snacks, bread, condiments, and other components.
• Ensure trays meet quality, portion, and presentation standards.
• Follow airline requirements and procedures to maintain consistency and satisfaction.
• Comply with hygiene and food safety regulations in the SOP handbook.
• Report any food safety, product quality, or operational concerns to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and support team members to ensure smooth flow.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by line manager or supervisor.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Food Assembly Helper to join our growing New York team!

Responsibilities

• Assemble food items and prepare meal trays according to detailed airline specifications.
• Arrange hot meals, cold meals, salads, snacks, bread, butter, condiments, and other required components.
• Ensure all trays are assembled accurately and meet established quality, portion, and presentation standards.
• Follow airline requirements and company procedures to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Comply with all hygiene and food safety regulations outlined in the Food Safety Management System handbook.
• Report food safety, product quality, or operational concerns to the line manager and Hygiene and Food Safety team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout the shift.
• Support team members as needed to maintain an efficient production flow and complete tasks on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a high-volume food production or assembly environment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently and meet strict production deadlines.
• Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Able to read and follow written instructions related to food handling and tray assembly.
• Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, quality, and accuracy.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
