Job summary

Community Action House in Holland, MI is seeking a Healthy at Home Coordinator to optimize health outcomes through nutrition education and the Food Club program. You will plan classes, demonstrations, and samples, and coordinate the meal kit offering, ensuring culturally responsive, Food as Medicine approaches to strengthen community health.

The role emphasizes collaboration with volunteers, dietitians, and local partners, managing partnerships, data reporting, and ongoing program improvement

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• High School Diploma required; or in place of a degree, equivalent years of experience.
• ServSafe Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain on onboarding.
• Basic conversational Spanish proficiency desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate onsite Healthy at Home nutrition education programming with volunteers, local partners, dieticians, and chefs.
• Coordinate meal kit program offerings and volunteer engagement opportunities.
• Build effective community partnerships with healthy eating advocates and potential supporters.
• Enhance guest experience and provide high quality customer service.
• Plan and refine multi-channel healthy eating marketing and involvement pathways for food club members and community members.
• Identify opportunities to expand nutrition education offerings and promote Food Club memberships.
• Collect performance data and report on program impact.
• Continuously improve programming and identify opportunities for greater impact.
