Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a full-time kitchen/food service teammate in Athens, GA to assemble and deliver trays, perform simple prep, and maintain sanitation. You will communicate needs to the team, rotate stock, and monitor temperatures to meet safety standards.

Role includes operating POS systems, handling cash transactions, and supporting a compassionate, patient-centered service environment consistent with Trinity Health values.

Qualifications

  • Serve Safe Certification or within 6mo. of hire.
  • Food Handler Certification in line with state requirements, or within 6 mo. of hire.
  • 0-1 year of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles and delivers trays following basic portion/menu guidelines.
  • Performs simple prep (portioning, packaging).
  • Communicates basic needs to team members and leaders.
  • Rotates and replenishes floor stock, food supplies, and kitchen inventory to maintain par levels and reduce waste.
  • Cleans dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas; ensures sanitation compliance and reports maintenance or safety issues.
  • Operates basic kitchen tools, cleans, and maintains equipment according to safety protocols.
  • Follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, monitors and records food and equipment temperatures to meet regulatory standards.
  • Operates point-of-sale systems, handles cash transactions accurately.
