Job summary

Masonicare at Greenridge Place in Rocky Hill, CT is seeking a per diem Kitchen Helper to support sanitation and dishwashing duties in the food service area. The role involves setting up the dishwashing station, cleaning dishes and glassware, and maintaining cleanliness of pots, pans, storerooms, and coolers.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, rotating stock, following sanitation procedures, and assisting cooks and managers on cleaning projects as needed, with a standard dress code

• Sets up dishmachine for meal service and washes dishes.

• Removes all garbage from kitchen and puts in dumpster as well as recycle products.
• Assist manager and cooks in any special cleaning project as directed.
• Follows dress code for department wearing provided uniforms that are clean and neat. Wear hairnets as required.
• Receives all deliveries and properly rotates stack and organizes storeroom and coolers.
• Attend all scheduled in-services.
