The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Food and Beverage Manager to join the leadership team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.
The Veranda offers a quintessential al fresco dining experience with spectacular ocean views. The menu features American favorites inspired by The Del’s Southern California roots, emphasizing fresh flavors and regional produce. Classic cocktails and a California-forward wine list complement the experience.
Located on Coronado Island, just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888. It features over 750 rooms, 65,000 sq ft of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.
In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of Veranda, reporting to the Restaurant General Manager. You will directly oversee 1 Food and Beverage Manager and 55 Front of House team members.
The ideal candidate must be an exceptional leader passionate about creating extraordinary experiences, skilled in training and development, and experienced in all aspects of restaurant operations, including financial performance, social media reputation, local market capture, and employee relations. A minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience in upscale dining is required. Strong beverage knowledge and experience managing a unionized environment are preferred.
Classification: Full-Time
Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate: The annual salary range is $70,000 - $75,000, based on experience and location.
