Job Title: Food Runner (Seasonal) - Veranda, Hotel del Coronado

The iconic Hotel del Coronado is seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join their Food & Beverage team. Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world, recently renovated with a $400M expansion. The resort offers stunning ocean views and a variety of dining options.

Located on Coronado Island, just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property features over 750 rooms, cottages, villas, and 65,000 sq ft of banquet space, along with 10 food and beverage outlets including restaurants, bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Position Details:

• Classification: Seasonal
• Shift: Various – including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Pay Rate: $19.62/hour, based on experience and location

Responsibilities:

• Assist food servers with table service, including serving beverages, breads, and transporting meals
• Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning, and placing tableware
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects
• Stock, maintain, and clean designated food stations
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously
