Woodbury Corp. in Orem is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager for a full-time supervisory role at a Courtyard by Marriott property. You will oversee kitchen and service staff, plan menus, manage costs, and ensure quality and sanitation across all F&B operations.

With 2+ years of hotel/restaurant and banquet experience, you will cover shifts including weekends/holidays and drive guest satisfaction while maximizing revenue and growth opportunities within the Woodbury hotel group.

Qualifications

• Completion of a culinary degree, program or certificate with at least 3 years of experience directly related to the above food and beverage responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Train and manage back-of-house (kitchen) and front-of-house staff in food and beverage presentation and preparation.
• Estimate consumption and purchases; may handle liquor license considerations.
• Develop recipes and standardize production for consistent quality.
• Establish presentation techniques and set quality standards.
• Plan and price menus and ensure equipment operation, safety and sanitation.
• Prepare meals as needed and oversee catering events.
• Hire, discipline, and manage performance of subordinate staff.
• Maximize sales and revenue for food and beverage operations.
• Respond promptly to guest needs and demonstrate commitment to guest service.

Come join our team as the Food & Beverage Manager at the Courtyard by Marriott in Orem. This is a full-time, manager position that requires a minimum of at least 2 years of hotel and restaurant management experience combined along with banquet experience. Willing to work weekends and/or holidays and be able to cover shifts as needed.

Essential Functions

• Train and manage back-of-the-house (kitchen) food and beverage preparation staff as well as front-of-the-house food and beverage presentation staff


• Estimate food and beverage consumption and purchases supplies as needed; may have responsibility for property liquor license and licensure requirements


• Select and develop recipes; standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality


• Establish presentation techniques and quality standards


• Plan and price menus


• Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance, safety and sanitation


• Prepare meals as needed; may oversee special catering events


• As a supervisor responsible for hiring, discipline, and performance management of subordinate staff


• Maximize sales and revenue for food and beverage operations; perform other related duties as assigned.


• Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guests’ needs with an interest and concern in satisfying every guest.
