A premier country club in Huntington, NY is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee operations across various dining services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in luxury F&B environments, adept at managing staff and delivering exceptional service while ensuring financial performance and compliance with safety standards.

Huntington Crescent Club is a private, Member-owned Country Club located in Huntington, NY, on the beautiful North Shore of Long Island. The Club is one of the premier full-service, golf-centric, and equally family-oriented Clubs on Long Island, and is a home away from home for 480-Member families.
The Club is run by an energetic, innovative, and progressive management team that shines by a competitive mindset and eagerness to continuously improve performance; a team that is thinking out-of-the-box to create a unique and exciting Member experience, combining tradition and deep history of the Club with new trends and modern twists.
Position Summary
The Food and Beverage Manager oversees all food and beverage operations throughout the Club, including fine dining, banquets, catering, and outlets. This position ensures delivery of exceptional Member service, operational efficiency, and financial performance, while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and Staff professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily F&B operations, including staffing, service, scheduling, training, and adherence to standards
- Manage all dining services, special events, and banquet operations
- Develop and monitor budgets, labor controls, and cost efficiencies (food, beverage, labor)
- Recruit, train, and evaluate F&B Staff; implement orientation and professional development
- Ensure high-quality service, creative presentation, and Member satisfaction
- Collaborate with Culinary and Service Teams to execute menus, promotions, and events
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations
- Build and maintain vendor relationships, oversee purchasing, and manage inventory control
- Monitor and reconcile POS systems, sales reports, payroll, and financial records
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service guidelines, and training materials
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience within luxury F&B environments
- Demonstrated success in managing large teams and multi-outlet operations
- Expertise in fine dining service, banquet operations, wine and spirits, and cost management
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts
- Experience working in a luxury Club or private dining setting
- Member-focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates professional presence and composure under pressure
- Strategic thinker with attention to operational details
