Food and Beverage Director

We're hiring a Food and Beverage Director at Manchester Country Club in Bedford, New Hampshire!

Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for hospitality. As a Food and Beverage Director, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and member experiences by supporting and directing all front-of-house and back-of-house food and beverage staff, and implementing all company and club F&B initiatives. This includes business planning, menu design, inventory management, service standards training, operational audits, and developing new F&B experiences.

Candidates should have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays. Compensation starts at $88,000 annually, with an incentive package and paid time off.

Responsibilities

1. Manage daily front-of-house and back-of-house F&B operations, overseeing the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef
2. Recruit, interview, hire, and train F&B staff
3. Forecast and budget for the entire F&B operation
4. Maintain cost controls and conduct monthly inventory
5. Uphold Troon Food and Beverage policies
6. Coordinate between sales, front-of-house, and back-of-house departments
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
8. Maintain high guest service levels, including needs assessment, quality standards, and satisfaction evaluation
9. Monitor and report labor and expenses efficiently and profitably
10. Schedule and supervise F&B personnel to ensure optimal coverage
11. Promote the club’s dining facilities for events and meetings
12. Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited institution
• 3-5 years of high-volume restaurant management experience with proven sales growth and service excellence
• Knowledge of health regulations and liquor laws
• Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; capable of creating reports and menus
• Serf Save and TIPS certification required

Working Conditions

• Regularly required to reach, stand, walk, and handle objects
• Occasional bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Specific vision abilities required
• Exposure to various environmental conditions and hazards
• Work extended hours during peak seasons, including weekends and holidays
