Food and Beverage Director

We're hiring a Food and Beverage Director at Manchester Country Club in Bedford, New Hampshire!

Ideal candidates have a genuine passion for hospitality. As a Food and Beverage Director, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and member experiences by supporting and directing all front-of-house and back-of-house food and beverage staff, and implementing all company and facility F&B initiatives. This includes business planning, menu design, inventory management, service standards training, operational audits, and developing new F&B experiences.

Candidates should have flexible schedules, including availability to work weekends and holidays. Compensation starts at a $88,000 base salary, with annual incentives and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily front-of-house and back-of-house F&B operations, overseeing the Restaurant Manager and Executive Chef
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train all F&B staff
• Forecast and budget for the entire F&B operation
• Maintain cost controls and conduct monthly inventories
• Uphold Troon Food and Beverage policies
• Coordinate between sales, front-of-house, and back-of-house departments
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and service quality
• Monitor labor and expenses to ensure profitability
• Schedule and supervise all food and beverage personnel during operational hours
• Promote the club’s dining facilities for events and meetings
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited institution
• 3-5 years of management experience in high-volume restaurants with proven sales growth and service excellence
• Knowledge of health regulations and liquor laws
• Highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Serf Save and TIPS certifications

Working Conditions

• Regularly required to reach, stand, walk, and handle objects
• Occasional bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Specific vision abilities required
• Exposure to outdoor elements, chemicals, and noise
• Extended hours during golf and holiday seasons, including weekends and holidays
