The Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach Resort is looking for a Food and Beverage Cashier to join their team.

Location: Puerto Rico's northern coast, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, 10 minutes from Manuel Morales Beach and 21 miles from central San Juan. Enjoy our outdoor lagoon-style pool with ocean views, made-to-order breakfast, and complimentary evening receptions.

Shift Pattern: Full availability, rotating shifts throughout the week, including holidays and weekends.

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile transactions for Food and Beverage cashiers daily.
• Investigate and correct cash and credit card discrepancies.
• Hand over takings to the General Cashier promptly.
• Complete cashiering reports and support business operations.
• Produce daily cash and ledger reports.
• Understand food and beverage services, including promotions.
• Manage customer and team member inquiries and complaints effectively.
• Follow fire, health, and safety regulations.
• Perform tasks as instructed by the Finance or General Manager.

Qualifications:

• Experience in accounting, finance, or cash management.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of financial systems and procedures.
• Ability to learn food and beverage computer systems quickly.
• Ability to read and interpret reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in high-volume finance departments, preferably in hotels.
• Experience with PeopleSoft system.
