Food and Beverage Cashier (Part-Time) - Embassy Suites by Hilton Dorado del Mar Beach Resort (Finance)

The Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar Beach Resort is seeking a Food and Beverage Cashier to join their team.

About the Resort: Located on Puerto Rico's northern coast, our private beachfront offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. We are just 10 minutes from Manuel Morales Beach and 21 miles from central San Juan. Enjoy our outdoor lagoon-style pool with ocean views, made-to-order breakfast, and complimentary evening receptions.

Shift Pattern: Full availability with rotating shifts throughout the week. Holidays and weekends are required.

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile transactions for Food and Beverage cashiers daily.
• Investigate and correct cash and credit card discrepancies.
• Ensure timely handover of takings to the General Cashier.
• Complete cashiering reports and support business operations.
• Produce daily cash and ledger reports.
• Understand food and beverage services and promotions.
• Manage customer and team member inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Follow fire, health, and safety regulations and procedures.
• Perform tasks as instructed by the Finance Manager and/or General Manager.

Qualifications:

• Experience in accounting, finance, or cash management (cashier).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of financial operating systems and procedures.
• Ability to learn food and beverage computer systems quickly.
• Ability to read and interpret reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in high-volume finance departments, preferably in a hotel setting.
• Experience with the PeopleSoft system.
