As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will have the opportunity to work in one of our many in-park Food and Beverage locations throughout the park. Working as a Food & Beverage Attendant is the perfect way to gain valuable customer service, food preparation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

We are currently looking for a:

Idlewild and Soakzone: Food and Beverage Attendant

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests in a fun and inviting manner!
2. Smile and communicate with coworkers and guests to ensure exceptional customer service
3. Assist guests by quickly and politely answering their questions
4. Prepare food following proper procedure and safety guidelines
5. Conduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed – including credit and refund transactions.
6. Ensure that all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.
7. Replenish condiments, beverages, and food supplies while maintaining a clean work area.
8. Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
9. Monitor product quality and communicate shrinkage/waste to the lead and/or supervisor.
10. Assist in other areas of the park to ensure guest satisfaction, if needed
11. All other duties assigned by leadership

Education and Experience:

1. No education requirements for this role
2. Previous work experience is not required

Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Requirements:

1. Must be at least 14 years of age to comply with Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws
2. Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
3. Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
4. Ability to comply with all uniform policies
5. Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, and local food preparation and serving regulations
6. Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
7. Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction
8. Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
2. Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
3. Ability to withstand heat and humidity from the food preparation equipment
4. Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more

Working Conditions:

1. This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments
2. Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions
3. Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments
