Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers seeks a Club Leader – Specialized Program in Hawthorne to run Folklorico clubs up to 20 participants. This part-time, non-exempt role requires delivering authentic Folklorico instruction, fostering student confidence, and coordinating with the Site Coordinator and Community Liaison.

The position is on-site, with training at Woodcraft Rangers sites, and a focus on inclusive, hands-on learning in a fun after-school setting for youth aged 4–18.

Qualifications

• Certificate, portfolio, or demonstrable experience in Folklorico or closely related traditional dance discipline.
• Experience teaching youth Folklorico or traditional dance in a classroom, studio, community, or performance setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students are safe and foster an inclusive environment.
• Deliver high-quality specialized instruction in Folklorico.
• Prepare participants for showcases and performances.
• Attend on-site training at Woodcraft Rangers sites.
• Collaborate with staff to develop culminating activities.
