Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking a Club Leader — Specialized Program to run a Folklorico-focused after-school club in the Moreno Valley area. You will deliver authentic Folklorico instruction, develop age-appropriate choreography, and guide up to 20 participants toward performance-ready skills.

The role is on-site, with training at Woodcraft Rangers locations. Ideal candidates will have a strong Folklorico background, a passion for youth development, and the ability to manage diverse groups across

Qualifications

• Certificate, portfolio, or demonstrable experience in Folklorico or a closely related traditional dance discipline.
• Experience teaching youth Folklorico or traditional dance in a school, studio, or recreational setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance
• TB Test clearance
• First Aid & CPR certification (provided by WR)
• 6 months experience supervising a group of children in a school or recreational setting
• Must successfully pass an assessment test evaluating skills in math, reading comprehension, and spelling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students are in a safe environment and promote inclusion for all participants.
• Develop and lead FUN, engaging activities aligned with social-emotional learning and skill building.
• Deliver high-quality Folklorico instruction and build confidence and discipline in youth.
• Monitor attendance and engagement and build positive relationships with participants and staff.
• Prepare participants for culminating showcases, including costuming and staging basics.
