Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers in Moreno Valley is seeking a Part-time Club Leader to help run safe, engaging clubs for about 20 children. This on-site role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and includes attending trainings at the main office and at school sites.

You will build inclusive activities aligned with social‑emotional learning, track attendance, and collaborate with the Site Coordinator and Program Manager to showcase participant progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED (AA Degree in Child Development or a related field preferred).
• Prior experience working with groups of K-12 students in an academic or recreational setting preferred.
• Knowledge and experience working in expanded learning programs or youth recreational facilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure students are in a safe environment and promote an inclusive, welcoming culture.
• Develop and lead age-appropriate, fun activities aligned with social-emotional learning.
• Monitor attendance and engagement to ensure participation.
• Build positive relationships with participants, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate to develop culminating activities or events that showcase participant work.
• Request materials in a timely manner to stay within budget.
