Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a Dance After-School Program Leader to create a fun, safe learning environment for ~20 children, with hours 1:00 PM–5:00/6:00 PM depending on location. The ideal candidate has experience in expanded learning or after-school programs, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to work with K–12 youth; a HS diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Availability Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
• Experience in expanded learning programs, after-school programs, or youth recreation settings preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree preferred.
• Previous experience working with K-12 students in academic, recreational, or youth development settings preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster a safe and supportive environment for students.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support whole-child development.
• Monitor attendance and participation to ensure engagement.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with staff to plan culminating events and celebrate achievements.
• Attend required trainings and adhere to safety procedures.
