Job summary

Mill Rock Packaging is seeking a Finishing Operator for folding-gluing on the 2nd shift (3:00PM-11:00PM ET) in South Windsor, CT. You will set up and run folder/gluer machines, ensure cartons meet specs, and maintain equipment. The role requires a GED/HS diploma and 1+ year folding carton experience.

Overtime may be required; benefits follow after 31 days. You will use Radius software to enter data, track schedules, and communicate quality issues to leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of paperboard folding carton industry or similar print/packaging experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience on a folder-gluer machine.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run folder/gluer machines to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain equipment and enter job data into Radius program.
• Communicate and correct quality issues with plant leadership.
• Meet monthly/quarterly efficiency and quality standards.
• Perform quality checks and keep machine work records.
