Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is hiring a Gluer Operator to set up and operate folder-gluer machines, ensuring carton quality for all customers. The role involves feeding stacks of paperboard, troubleshooting, and maintaining target speeds on an 8–12 hour shift.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, works on 3rd shift (Sun–Thu 10:00pm–6:00am) with overtime as needed, and training on 1st shift during the first 120 days.

Description

Our Gluer Operators are responsible for the set-up and operation of folder-gluer machines, ensuring all cartons meet our high-quality standards, for all our customers.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Set up window/folder-gluer machines
• Must be able to continuously lift, fan, and load stacks of paperboard into the machine feed. This requires repetitive reaching and gripping.
• Troubleshoot and perform machine adjustments as needed
• Must be comfortable standing and moving in a fast-paced environment for the duration of an 8–12-hour shift, maintaining the physical pace required to keep the machine running at target speeds.
• Follow work instructions and procedures for each job
• Meet job quotas and maintain product conformance to specifications
• Fine motor skills required for clearing occasional jams and making precise adjustments to belts, guides, and glue guns.
• Handle all other duties as assigned
