Job summary

RRD Company is seeking an experienced Bindery Operator to operate and set up folder gluer machines and related equipment. You will coordinate multiple binding stations to convert printed sheets into final books, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Shift hours are 2 PM to 10 PM, with compensation ranging hourly. The role includes overtime and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus retirement plans. All employment offers are contingent upon background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders and bindery specifications to maintain accuracy.
• Must calculate distances/clearances and fits for joining machines and components.
• Operate, adjust and coordinate multiple bindery machines to produce finished products.
• Ensure quality, output, and productivity meet standards while supervising crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Folder Gluer machines.
• Set up and adjust auxiliary binding machines with multiple heads and attachments.
• Operate automatic bindery machines with several functions to produce finished books or catalogs.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Make adjustments to coordinate work stations on a machine.
• Direct crew through production, monitor quality and output.
