Job summary

Allied Printing Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Folder-Gluer Machine Operator to join our bindery team in Manchester, CT. You will set up, run, and monitor folder/gluer equipment, ensuring accurate folds and strong gluing while keeping waste to a minimum.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of folder/gluer experience, familiarity with Bobst Series preferred, and strong mechanical and quality oversight abilities in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience operating a folder/gluer.
• Bobst Series experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to read, interpret job orders and use measuring hand tools.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, make-ready, operate, and monitor folder/gluer equipment to meet customer specifications.
• Adjust fold and glue patterns based on job specs.
• Perform quality checks to ensure proper gluing and folding; minimize waste.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, adjustments, repairs, and cleaning as needed.
• Observe machine operations, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain safety, quality, maintenance, and GMP practices.
