Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in West Chester, OH is hiring a Folder/Gluer Apprentice to help set up the feed section of the machine and assist the operator during training. This role cross-trains across all functions and aims to promote future folder gluer operators from the Apprentice pool.

Qualifications

• Set up the feed section of the folder/gluer machine.
• Ensure sheets are properly placed in the machine.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and safety of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up the feed section of the machine in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the sheets placed in the machine are in proper placement.
• Overall quality and cleanliness of the machine.
• Assist the operator on all aspects as required during training.
• Fill in during the absence of the operator.
• Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
