Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Kentucky is seeking a Folder Gluer Apprentice to learn and set up the feed section of the folder/gluer machine while assisting the operator in daily tasks. This role includes cross-training across functions and eventual progression to full operator duties within the plant.

The position requires readiness to work overtime and to participate in comprehensive training with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Setting up the feed section of the machine
• Ensuring sheets placed in the machine are properly aligned
• Maintaining overall quality and cleanliness of the machine
• Assisting the operator during training
• Filling in during operator absence
• Responsible for safety and cleanliness of equipment and area
• Overtime is required
