Job summary

Dezign Concepts is seeking an experienced FOIA/Privacy Act Analyst to respond to public and official requests for the review and release of classified information. The role requires processing complex disclosure cases under FOIA, PA, and IC policies, including MDR and ADR, with coordination across IC components.

The successful candidate will ensure accurate documentation, timely responses, and compliance with executive orders. A strong writing ability and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of FOIA/PA experience with case processing.
• Experience drafting correspondence and coordinating with requesters.
• Ability to review sensitive records for disclosure and classification compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and professional document formatting.
• Proficient with case-management tools and document-handling systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to public and official requests for release of sensitive information.
• Process complex FOIA/PA cases including MDR/ADR and exemptions.
• Conduct mandatory and automatic declassification reviews per policy.
• Coordinate taskings and document collection across IC components.
• Validate searches, ensure accurate case action documentation.
• Monitor progress and meet deadlines in government workflows.
• Prepare high-quality work products requiring minimal editing.
• Submit final letters and close cases within three business days of approval.
• Track case status using designated government tools.
• Contribute to annual compliance reports as directed.
