Job summary

NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Redaction Analyst to support the government with FOIA, PA, MDR, and ADR case processing. This 100% onsite daytime shift is located in Virginia.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph. You will coordinate across IC components and external agencies, ensure accurate searches, timely closures, and produce clear, error-free responses; sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph required.
• BS/BA plus 5 years experience or 9+ years without degree.
• Experience supporting FOIA, PA, MDR, or ADR case processing.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with case management tools and IC/agency systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to FOIA/PA/EO requests and release of information.
• Handle complex FOIA cases including litigation and appeals.
• Conduct MDR and ADR reviews per EO 13526.
• Coordinate taskings across IC components and external agencies.
• Validate searches and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
• Monitor case progress and deadlines; close cases within required timelines.
• Contribute inputs to annual compliance reports.
