Job summary

NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman FOIA Analyst to support the government by handling FOIA, Privacy Act, MDR, and ADR processing. The role requires an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph and Day shift, 100% onsite work, with potential travel reimbursement.

Responsibilities include coordinating searches, reviewing case files, drafting correspondence, and ensuring timely responses and compliance. BS/BA + 5 years FOIA or 9+ years without degree are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting FOIA, PA, MDR, and/or ADR case processing, including coordination, documentation, drafting correspondence, and interacting with requesters.
• Excellent written communication skills, with a proven ability to produce error-free, professionally formatted documents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document case actions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to public and official requests for review and release of information under FOIA/PA/EO 13526 and IC policies.
• Conduct MDR and ADR reviews in accordance with EO 13526.
• Coordinate taskings, searches, and document collection across internal IC components and external agencies.
• Validate adequacy of record searches and ensure accurate case documentation.
• Monitor case progress and ensure deadlines are met; coordinate with government leaders and stakeholders.
• Submit final response letters and close cases within three business days of approval.
• Track and update case status using agency tools; provide inputs to annual compliance reports.
