Job summary

U.S. Northern Command in Colorado is seeking a Government Information Specialist to manage FOIA and Privacy Act programs for HQ NORAD and HQ USNORTHCOM. You will serve as the principal advisor on FOIA/PA matters and act as Privacy Officer for Insider Threat programs.

You will participate in the Insider Threat program, safeguard classified information, and process MDR requests with rigorous classification reviews and policy development support.

Qualifications

• FOIA and Privacy Act program management experience.
• Ability to serve as Privacy Officer and advisor to command authorities.
• Experience conducting security classification/declassification reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manages FOIA and PA programs for HQ NORAD and HQ USNORTHCOM.
• Advises Commander on FOIA/PA matters and acts as Privacy Officer.
• Participates in Insider Threat program and MDR requests processing.
