Job Summary

Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server's primary objective is to provide our guests with exceptional service, while assisting co-workers to do the same.

Responsibilities

1. Welcome guests as they enter.
2. Greet guests upon arriving at the table, making them feel comfortable and assuring them of your personal care.
3. Inform guests of specials and menu changes; be knowledgeable about meals and substitutions.
4. Make genuine recommendations to guests.
5. Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services.
6. Take and enter food and beverage orders promptly.
7. Prepare coffee and tea when needed.
8. Prepare toast when needed.
9. Deliver food and beverages timely, with assistance from team members as needed.
10. Perform side work at shift start and end.
11. Maintain cleanliness of service areas and tables.
12. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
13. Handle billing, payments, and credit card processing.
14. Assist co-workers as needed.
15. Pre-bus tables and assist with cleaning.
16. Thank guests and invite them to return.
17. Be flexible to fill in as needed for smooth operations.

Qualifications

1. Ability to stand for long periods (up to 6 hours).
2. Effective communication skills in the predominant language(s) of guests.
3. Exceptional grooming habits.
4. Basic math skills and ability to operate POS systems.
