Restaurant Overview:

Acclaimed Chef Richard Sandoval brings his latest concept to the City of Brotherly Love. Located in the iconic Ritz Carlton, Aqimero offers a modern and sustainable take on Latin American dining. The restaurant features a wood-burning grill, sustainable seafood, steaks, ribs, poultry, a sushi and ceviche bar, and a raw bar to enhance your dining experience.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Deliver food to guests with proper menu item descriptions and verbiage.
2. Set up and stock the assigned work area according to established service standards and procedures.
3. Assist servers in inspecting stations for proper setup and appearance.
4. Clear and reset tables promptly within standard timings and guidelines.
5. Assist in serving beverages, bread, butter, and other food items in the dining room.
6. Support servers with all aspects of service; maintain a professional work area.
7. Clean service stations, fill ice bins, and restock storage and fridge items as per par levels; complete side duties as assigned.
8. Assist with setup and breakdown of dining room facilities.
9. Return dirty dishes to the dishwashing area and retrieve clean ones.
10. Clean spills, breakages, crumbs from tables and chairs immediately.
11. Maintain cleanliness and safety of floor areas.
12. Report damage or worn items to management; ensure equipment and stock are clean, neat, and in good condition.
13. Possess excellent knowledge of all menu items.
14. Perform any other duties as required and directed.

Physical Abilities:

• Work standing throughout the shift.
• Bend, reach, and perform frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
• Carry up to 25 pounds; transport highchairs up to 30-50 feet—up to 10 per shift.
• Verbally communicate with guests and team members.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Wash hands frequently.

Work Environment:

Indoor restaurant and kitchen setting; exposure to temperature extremes, grease, food, noise, appliances, and cleaning agents. Hazards include slipping, tripping, falling, cuts, scrapes, muscle strains, and burns.
