Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking seasonal Restaurant Host/Busser roles at Solitude Mountain Resort. The positions support dining room operations, bussing and seating guests, and facilitating room service delivery in a fast-paced mountain setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (preferred), the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and a willingness to work weekends/holidays. Training and advancement opportunities are available within the Solitude Food & Beverage team.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service experience and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends.
• Must obtain and maintain state-required licenses such as Food Handler’s Permit and Utah Alcohol Training.
• Interest in learning about food, wine, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests and communicate with servers.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness, buss tables, and sanitize surfaces.
• Handle trash and recycling removal.
• Provide guest service while bussing tables and answering questions.
• Take orders and deliver room service using stairs and tray service.
• Support restaurant staff with other tasks as needed.

This support position will be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant dining room is clean and presentable for dining guests. Tables are to be bussed, cleaned, and sanitized in a quick, quiet, and efficient manner. This position will be responsible for expo. and room service orders and deliveries.
